Match Day 2006

· Restless sleep all Wednesday night (woke up at 12am and 2:30am)

· Woke up at 8am – showered and got ready for the day

· 10am medical student ceremony – PPT slideshow (was not ready secondary to technical difficulty)

· 11am Match Day ceremony

Crystal – my best friend. See you next year for your Match Day!!

Mass General!!! The Promise Land

· About half-way to ¾-way through the envelopes…my name gets called!!!

· 2006-2007 = Prelim-medicine at Austin, TX (Brackenridge Hospital affiliated with UTMB)

· 2007-2010 = Anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA

· 2pm – Call program directors, friends, and family regarding the GREAT news!!

o George and Roland – MGH Chief residents – they define awesome!! These 2 guys are hilarious and have made my visits to the promise land enjoyable!! Keep it real men… and I hope the “real world” is every bit as nice as you’ve been to me!! GOOD LUCK!!
